Progress and profile

Thought Escape has no user accounts. Progress is stored on your device and tied to an anonymous device ID. An optional display name and email backup are provided as a convenience for the leaderboard and cross-device restore. We are not liable for progress lost due to device loss, deletion, or uninstalling before backing up.

Purchases and subscriptions

• Remove Ads is an auto-renewable monthly subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at purchase confirmation. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in App Store → your Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• One-time purchases: consumable packs (Escape Shard packs, extra moves, life refills, boosts, bundles) and permanent unlocks (board skins and the skin bundle).
• Restore Purchases: permanent unlocks and active subscriptions can be restored on a new device via Settings → Restore Purchases.

Virtual currency and items

Escape Shards, world currencies, lives, boosts, and skins are licensed, not sold. They have no real-world monetary value, are non-transferable, non-redeemable for cash, and may be modified or discontinued as the game evolves.

Fair play and leaderboard conduct

Cheating, exploiting bugs, automating gameplay, or harassing other players will result in your device being blocked and leaderboard entries removed. Display names must not be offensive or impersonate others; we may rename or remove leaderboard entries at our discretion.

License and intellectual property

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to play Thought Escape for personal entertainment. All artwork, music, puzzles, and code are © Thought Escape. You may stream or share gameplay non-commercially with credit.

Disclaimer of warranties

The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We strive for uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and features may change as the game evolves.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thought Escape is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Termination

We may block devices or remove leaderboard entries for violations of these terms. You can stop playing and delete your data anytime via Settings → Delete Account.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the game evolves. Continued play after changes means acceptance. Material changes will be flagged in-app or on this page.
